MockX is a platform where you can practice technical and behavioral interviews with experienced coaches to improve your interview skills and increase your chances of landing your dream job.

Follow these simple steps to book your mock interview:

Go to the Home Page and click "Schedule a Mock Interview"
Fill in your name, email, and choose "Mock Interview with Detailed Feedback" as the preferred service
Specify your target level and the interview type (e.g., IC Behavioral, System Design, Leadership)
Provide at least 3 preferred date/time slots in PST
Submit the form

Note: Payment is not required at the time of request. An invoice will be sent after a coach is assigned and the interview is scheduled.

The session closely simulates a real interview and includes personalized coaching:

First 5 minutes: Introduction and discussion of your goals, target role, and company.

Next 40 minutes: A focused mock interview based on your selected format (e.g., Behavioral, System Design, Leadership).

Final 15 minutes: Detailed feedback on your performance, including strengths, improvement areas, and actionable suggestions.

Post-session: You'll receive written feedback within 24 hours.

We offer two types of services:

The payment invoice will be sent after your interview is scheduled with a coach.

Payment must be completed at least 24 hours before the session to avoid cancellation.

Currently, we accept payments via PayPal, Zelle, or Venmo.

For Coaches

Click on Be a Coach and fill out the application form. Our team will review your experience and expertise. If approved, you'll be onboarded and can start accepting interview sessions.

Significant industry experience, preferably in top tech companies or startups.
Strong interviewing background, with hands-on experience conducting interviews.
A passion for mentoring, coaching, and helping others succeed.
Ability to provide constructive feedback that is actionable and tailored to each candidate.

Once approved, you can set your availability in your dashboard. You can update your schedule anytime, and candidates can book sessions based on your available slots.

Flat Rate: All coaches are paid a flat fee of $125 per session.

Payment Schedule: Payments are processed securely at the end of each month (on the 30th or 31st).

Payment Method: You will receive your earnings directly to your registered PayPal account.

To ensure a high-quality experience for candidates, we ask all coaches to follow these guidelines:

Be punctual: Please join your sessions on time to respect the candidate's schedule.
Keep your availability up to date: Accurate scheduling helps avoid unnecessary back-and-forth and ensures a smooth experience for candidates.
Submit written feedback promptly: Most candidates schedule mocks close to their actual interviews. Timely feedback is critical for their preparation—please aim to submit it as soon as possible after the session.
Avoid last-minute rescheduling: Please do not reschedule within 24 hours of a session, as it becomes challenging to find a replacement on short notice.
Maintain coaching quality: Coaches are expected to consistently deliver high-quality sessions. If candidate feedback indicates a drop in quality, we may conduct a reevaluation before continuing your participation on the platform.
